AND THE WINNER IS . . .

Believe it or not, it is finally time to announce the winner of the ITSY BITSY SUMMER GIVE-AWAY!

Please note: I am a WRITER not an ACTRESS. So making this video is one of the most embarrassing things I've ever done, but I thought it would be a fun way to announce the winner. (Thanks to my nine-year-old for the music, camera work, as well as the background artwork.) Oh, and forgive the head-bobbing in the beginning . . . my daughter wasn't suppose to be recording yet. : )

Come back next week to see the beginnings of PROJECT:WRITING NOOK.

After you watch the video, scroll down to read my interview with the give-away book's author: Jodi Moore. You'll be glad you did. I promise.

Now then . . . on with the show!

  1. You are SO cute! I haven't had the nerve to try a video blog yet, so Woo Hoo to you. But you didn't introduce yourself. I wanted to hear you say your name! Mind you, this is coming from someone whose name is always mispronounced as I'm assuming yours is too.

    Congrats to Robyn.

    1. Gee, thanks, Kai. It takes way too many nerves to video blog. I do not recommend it. I was a huge ball of nerves all morning. And gosh, I never even thought of introducing myself. That probably would have been nice (next time!) Well my first name is pronounced Ay-lee, like Haylee without the 'H'. How do you pronounce Kai? I would say "KY".

    2. Most people do. It is the more popular pronunciation. But mine is just K - like the letter. My mom said it was how the Swedish spelled Kay. My grandfather was born in Sweden.

But for the record, I answer to "Hey you!" also.

  4. So nice to hear your voice and see you move. Okay, that sounds weird, but sometimes you get tired of seeing still images of people you've never met and wonder what they're like in real life. I felt I just got a peek.

    1. Yes, my 9-year-old daughter tells everyone that she wants to be an author-illustrator when she grows up, so she loves helping me out with anything "writerly". I will have to show her your comment.

      Thanks, Amy!
