Super proud of myself for coming up with this cute idea for Christmas gifts.
Also, this last week, I was able to do another POETRY workshop at a local elementary school.
This time I taught about analogies, metaphors, synonyms, and antonyms.
Then, I helped the kids write their own poem about snowflakes with this prompt:
Gently drifting to the ground,
snowflakes fall without a sound.
And then . . . the next day I went back in and taught them how to make these large ornaments. They glued their poems to the back and gave these to their parents as gifts.
